Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with provider orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and conditions closely, documenting any changes immediately in the EHR.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and timely medical documentation at all times.
- Provide compassionate patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond swiftly and calmly to emergency situations and critical care needs.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients as necessary (up to 50 lbs).
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
