Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress and document electronic health records (EHR)
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Adhere to infection control and safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Active New Mexico RN license (or eligible)
- Pass NCLEX exam within 3 months of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Commitment to professional development
