Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management.
- Document patient care services accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic health record.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the broader healthcare team.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and changing patient conditions.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ASN or BSN degree).
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
- Demonstrated compassion and a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
