Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans under the direction of physicians and charge nurses.
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Vital Monitoring: Monitor patient health progress by continuously observing symptoms and reporting changes to the medical team.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, patient charts, and incident reports.
- Education: Educate patients and their families about health conditions and disease management.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
