Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and vitals analysis via secure telehealth platforms.
- Provide high-quality triage, medical advice, and health education to patients in a remote setting.
- Document patient interactions, symptoms, and treatment plans accurately into Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the wider care team to ensure continuity of care.
- Manage medication refills and coordinate follow-up appointments as directed by physicians.
- Identify patient needs and escalate critical issues to on-call medical staff immediately.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with preference for telehealth or clinical experience.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with remote communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams).
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations strictly.
