Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and Oncology
- Administer medications, treatments, and patient assessments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide patient/family education on disease management and preventive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current Illinois RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- 2+ years acute care experience in hospital setting
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
