Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based patient care across diverse medical-surgical units, including telemetry and oncology
- Implement comprehensive care plans using Epic EHR system for accurate documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient transitions and discharge planning
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while adhering to safety protocols
- Mentor new nurses and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using ACLS/PALS protocols
- Advocate for patient needs while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license with BSN preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Minimum 1-2 years of acute care experience (new graduates welcome with residency program)
- BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred based on unit assignment
- Proficiency in electronic health records (Epic experience highly valued)
- Demonstrated critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Strong communication abilities with patients, families, and care teams
