Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and hospital protocols
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using advanced clinical judgment
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions and self-care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain strict compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong assessment skills and ability to prioritize patient needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
