Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
- Monitor vital signs and patient progress, documenting all findings promptly and accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to promote recovery and prevent readmission.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Arizona.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and make critical decisions.
