Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, promptly reporting any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families to facilitate recovery.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of patient care activities and medical records.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, infection control policies, and Joint Commission standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
