Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency, ICU, or general medical-surgical units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety regulations
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (or compact license with willingness to endorse)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
