Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and the wider care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all infection control and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
