Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through comprehensive physical examinations and history taking.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
- Perform medical treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and medications, reporting any adverse reactions immediately.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, including electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New graduates will be considered).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
