Responsibilities
- Assess patient health conditions, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based nursing interventions
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccines with precision and patient safety as the top priority
- Monitor vital signs, document patient progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance, hospital policies, and JCAHO standards at all times
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to patient safety culture
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS certifications strongly preferred
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in hospital setting
- Proficiency in electronic health records (Epic systems preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work in high-pressure environments
