Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and facility protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and injections with precision and safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress and document clinical observations accurately in EHR systems
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and regulatory standards at all times
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact license)
- BSN or Associate’s Degree in Nursing with relevant experience
- BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred for critical care roles)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute care setting
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
