Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and recognize changes in clinical status to intervene appropriately.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment plans.
- Document patient care services accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and critical situations.
Qualifications
- Current and active Virginia RN license or Compact State RN license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Computer literacy with experience in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
