Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during weekend shifts in assigned clinical units
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient conditions and document assessments accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
- Participate in weekend shift huddles and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Arizona (compact license acceptable)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience required
- ACLS/BLS certifications; specialty certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS) preferred
- Strong proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with on-call support
