Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient vitals with precision
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Document electronic health records accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Respond to emergent situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Precept new staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Missouri (compact license acceptable)
- BSN degree or higher preferred (ADN with experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs
