Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care across diverse units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining strict safety protocols
- Monitor and document patient vitals using advanced electronic health record systems
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families on disease management and preventive care strategies
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations with critical thinking and calm expertise
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and regulatory documentation standards
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license with unrestricted status
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR system highly valued
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekends and holidays
