Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and medication administration
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) for accurate documentation
- Implement evidence-based nursing practices in critical care settings
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (compact license preferred)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years acute care experience in telemetry or ICU
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
