Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and provide treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and utilize critical thinking skills to resolve patient issues.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including infection control and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, with strong clinical skills.
- Valid State Driver’s License (if required for unit travel).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
