Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment and care planning for weekend patient population
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining accurate documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care across shifts
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in weekend-specific care coordination and discharge planning
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives focused on weekend patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- ACLS/BLS certification required; PALS preferred
- Strong weekend availability (Sat/Sun 7a-7p)
- Excellent critical thinking and emergency response skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care
