Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in emergency, critical care, and general medical units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment interventions
- Educate patients and families on discharge plans and health maintenance
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RN license (required)
- ACLS and BLS certifications (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Weekend shift availability (Fri-Sun, 7a-7p)
- BSN preferred or equivalent experience
