Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and medication administration in assigned units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency situations
- Document clinical observations and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Supervise LVNs and CNAs to ensure quality care standards
- Participate in weekend shift huddles and patient handoffs
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must maintain)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun shifts)
