Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precise attention to protocols
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams and communicate patient status updates
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation standards
- Educate patients and families on disease management and discharge planning
- Respond to emergency situations with calm, evidence-based interventions
- Mentor junior staff and uphold quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Texas (TX RN)
- BSN degree from accredited nursing program (ADN with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care or specialty nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC or ENPC preferred
- Strong proficiency in EMR systems (Epic experience highly valued)
- Excellent critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
- Valid Texas driver's license for potential on-call rotations
