Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in fast-paced clinical environments including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, and recovery progress using advanced monitoring systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and patient responses accurately in EMR systems
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in weekend shift capacity
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
