Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment and care planning for weekend patients
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Document patient encounters accurately in our advanced EHR system
- Respond to emergent situations with calm expertise during weekend coverage
- Mentor less experienced staff during weekend rotations
- Participate in weekend quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana (or compact state)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years of acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong weekend shift availability (Sat/Sun 7a-7p)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
