Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and protocols
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
- Document patient information accurately and timely in the electronic health record
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and self-care
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
- Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
