Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional direct patient care across diverse medical units during weekend shifts
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision and compassion
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and document all care activities accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using advanced clinical judgment
- Maintain strict compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current Ohio RN license with no restrictions or disciplinary actions
- Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and care teams
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC experience preferred)
- Ability to thrive independently in fast-paced weekend environments
