Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for diverse patient populations
- Administer medications and treatments with precise documentation in Epic EHR systems
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams during weekend shifts to ensure continuity of care
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention skills
- Mentor junior nursing staff and model evidence-based practice standards
- Participate in weekend-specific quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and NY State Board of Nursing regulations
Qualifications
- Active NYS Registered Nurse license with no disciplinary actions
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in telemetry or ICU settings
- ACLS/BLS certifications with current renewal dates
- Demonstrated proficiency in Epic EHR systems

- Availability for all weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) with holiday rotation
