Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care to assigned patients during the weekend shift.
- Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, and overall progress, reporting changes immediately to the nursing supervisor.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff, strictly adhering to safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, with a strong preference for critical care or medical-surgical experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team during high-volume weekend shifts.
