Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and conditions continuously, responding immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, infection control standards, and hospital policies.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, Medical-Surgical background a plus.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.).
