Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care and comprehensive assessments during weekend shifts.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient data, vital signs, and changes in condition accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
- Respond promptly and effectively to patient emergencies and critical situations.
- Educate patients and families on discharge planning and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
- Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality (HIPAA compliant).
