Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status, administer medications, and record vital signs accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop patient care plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and patient needs during the shift.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient education and support to families and caregivers.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) consistently.
- Flexibility to float between units as needed.
