Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition or medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Oklahoma.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting (preferred for weekend shift).
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as necessary.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards.
