Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care to assigned patients during the weekend shift.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, emotional, and psychosocial evaluations.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions closely, documenting any changes or abnormalities immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and disease management.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality of care standards.
