Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse clinical units during weekend shifts
- Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and document clinical progress accurately
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital protocols
- Participate in weekend shift rotations and on-call rotations as required
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in Texas (TX RN license required)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years of acute care experience accepted
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification; ACLS and PALS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Passion for patient-centered care in fast-paced environments
