Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize treatment outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead patient education initiatives and support family-centered care practices
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact state)
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in a hospital setting
- Strong clinical skills with expertise in patient assessment and medication administration
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced weekend shift environment
