Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure safety and optimal recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during their stay.
- Document all clinical findings, procedures, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and initiate appropriate life-saving interventions.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical-surgical setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as necessary.
