Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across 12-hour weekend shifts (Sat/Sun or Fri/Sun)
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing interventions for cardiac patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on complex treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation standards
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to emergencies with critical care expertise
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- 2+ years acute care experience in telemetry/ICU
- ACLS/BLS certifications required
- Strong communication skills and cultural competence
- Ability to work independently during weekend coverage
- Flexibility for rotating holiday shifts
