Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings (ER, ICU, Med-Surg)
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and wound management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Implement infection control protocols and safety standards
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care
- Participate in rapid response and code blue procedures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Valid CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in high-pressure environments
- Flexibility to cover various departments as needed
