Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical needs.
- Medication Administration: Accurately administer medications and treatments while adhering to strict safety protocols and state regulations.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, patient charts, and incident reports.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Crisis Management: Respond effectively to medical emergencies and critical situations within the facility.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to navigate electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently.
- Compassion: Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for patient care.
