Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and infection control guidelines
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience preferred
- BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications a plus
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
