Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions continuously.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient history, nursing interventions, and progress accurately.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication, and recovery processes.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Louisiana.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
