Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and hospital standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care activities.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and home care.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred based on unit.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (New grads welcome with residency programs).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
