Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide high-quality nursing care via telehealth platforms and remote communication channels.
- Medication Management: Accurately administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Crisis Management: Respond promptly to patient inquiries and emergent needs through secure remote channels.
- Education: Educate patients and their families on health management plans and disease prevention strategies.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (or compact state eligibility).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (Acute Care or Telehealth preferred).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Skills: Strong computer proficiency, especially with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and telehealth software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to a remote/hybrid work environment and manage time effectively.
