Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and support in diverse clinical settings.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient progress, symptoms, and clinical findings accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergency situations and critical care needs.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience (preferred).
- CPR (BLS) certification required; ACLS certification preferred for specialized units.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a high-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain composure and make sound decisions during critical situations.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
