Job Summary
We are looking for a Remote CNA to provide high-quality, person-centered care to clients in the comfort of their own homes. In this role, you will utilize telehealth technologies and home care protocols to ensure our clients receive the attention they deserve while maintaining the independence they cherish.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the registered nurse or physician.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team regarding patient progress and needs.
- Document all care activities, observations, and any changes in patient status accurately in the electronic health record.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for both the patient and the caregiver.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping related to patient care.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Ohio (active and in good standing).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Previous experience in home health or long-term care is preferred.
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
