Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide basic wound care and assist with mobility aids as directed by the nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients in accordance with hospital safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in North Carolina.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
