Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, and social outings.
- Monitor and document client health changes and report concerns to supervisors.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with mobility using transfer techniques.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification preferred.
- Valid New York State driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Previous experience in home health care is a plus.
